Two members of the Second Wind extended family, Jacki French & Yvonne Slusser (sisters of Second Wind's own "Hambone with the Trombone" , Don Hudson) will be participating in the Breast Cancer 3-Day in Cleveland, July 31-August 2. They'll be walking as the "Nearly B's to To Triple D's" Team on behalf of every person that has been affected by breast cancer. They have set a team goal of raising nearly $5,000 for the event this year.Through their efforts in the last 2 years walks, their team has raised over $25,000 to to help fund research and find a cure for this terrible disease.
The Breast Cancer 3-Day is an amazing 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
